Dear 2020
Today is the last day of 2020. The world can argue against it, that it brought nastiness, injustice, sickness, loneliness and deprivation to the world - in more ways than one. 2020 brought COVID-19 to the world. We went into lockdown, we had to quarantine, we couldn’t see our loved ones, we couldn’t work, we missed so much and many lost so much. The pain for most can be described as unbearable.
We all got a taste of the loneliness, the nastiness, the unhealthy and the fear in 2020.
Here is my letter to 2020:
Dear 2020,
I choose to not focus on only the negative I got from you. I choose to value everything good you gave me, no matter how small.
Join me in writing your own letter to 2020 - a letter that you can keep private or share with a loved one. A letter where you choose to highlight the positive, the blessings and the joys. It might be hard to find them, but I know you can do it!
Let us take from 2020 the good, and leave the bad behind. Enter the new year with gratitude, focus on the positive, strength, resiliency and most of all health. That is my wish to you.
2020 you definitely will not be forgotten.
